The Education
This is the only degree at UNIMY dedicated entirely to applied AI — and it is built differently from every other computing programme. The curriculum is structured as a complete three-year AI journey. Year 1 builds the mathematical, programming, and data foundations. Year 2 goes deep into machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, blockchain AI, game AI, and decision support systems.
Year 3 takes you to the frontier — MLOps and deployment, cloud and edge computing, generative AI, AI in cybersecurity, human-centred AI, and AI governance and ethics. By graduation, you will have built and deployed real AI systems across multiple domains. Not projects. Not simulations. Real, working intelligent systems that solve real problems — the kind of portfolio that opens doors at the most competitive employers in the market.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Applied Artificial Intelligence with Honours, applicants must meet one of the following:
- Pass Foundation in Computing & Engineering at UNIMY with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
- Pass STPM with minimum 2 passes (Grade C, GPA 2.0) including Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject; or 2 passes with a Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM.
- Pass A-Level with minimum 2 passes (Grade A–D) including Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject; or a Credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM, O-Level, or IGCSE.
- Pass UEC with 5 Grade B passes including Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject, or Additional Mathematics.
- Pass Foundation or Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.0, and a Credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject at SPM or IGCSE.
Applicants who do not meet the Mathematics requirement may be required to complete a pre-requisite Further Mathematics module in their first semester. English Language Requirements: IELTS: 5.0, TOEFL iBT: 40, PTE: 47, MUET: Band 3.5
