Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons), applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Pass Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, plus a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and any Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM or IGCSE level
  • Pass A-Level with at least Grade D in any 2 subjects, plus a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and any Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM or IGCSE level
  • Pass STPM with a minimum grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects, plus a credit in Additional Mathematics or Mathematics and any Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM or IGCSE level
  • Pass STPM (Science Stream) with a minimum grade C (GP 2.00) in one Mathematics subject and one Science or ICT subject
  • Hold a related Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
  • Pass UEC with 5 Grade B passes including Advanced Mathematics
  • Hold any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

Applicants without a Grade C in Mathematics may still be admitted but must complete a pre-requisite Mathematics module during their first semester.

  • 30% Final Examination — written and practical exams testing technical proficiency
